Colposcopy
Colposcopy is a simple procedure used for close examination of female genitalia (vulva, vagina, and cervix) for any abnormality using a special magnifying instrument (colposcope). Endometrial Ablation
Endometrial ablation is a simple procedure of removal of the endometrial lining of the uterus in women with abnormal menstrual bleeding. At the Camelback office, endometrial ablations can be performed using Novasure, Genesys HTA, and Minerva devices.

Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy is a procedure allowing clear visualization of the interior of the uterine cavity using a hysteroscope. The hysteroscope is inserted into the vagina to examine the cervix and inner lining of the uterus. During the procedure, any Abnormal lesion as polyp or thickening of the uterine lining can be taken as a biopsy. The biopsy can be taken with a dilation and curettage under anesthesia in the office of Camelback Women’s Health. hysteroscopy can be used for both diagnosis and treatment of abnormal bleeding.

Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP)
A LEEP is a procedure using a wire loop ( as a scalpel) to remove tissue (showing abnormal lesion or precancerous changes) from the lower genital tract, with cauterization of the tissue to minimize bleeding. Then, the microscopic examination of the specimen was done. This procedure is recommended to be done if Pap smear and biopsy results are abnormal. It can be used for the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal or malignant lesions.
