Services of Bethel animal health

Dentistry

Dental diseases start in pets at the age of 3  years and it is very important to be discovered early as they affect general health through blood causing serious issues with the liver, kidneys, and heart.

X-rays and ultrasound

Bethel animal health uses medical technology such as radiology for proper diagnosis, so can achieve the best care for your pet. X-rays allow doctors to create images of all the body's organs.

Ultrasound uses sound waves to offer a painless, and radiation-free method of imaging your pets' internal organs.

Vaccination

Likechildren, animals need vaccinations against dangerous bacterial and viral diseases. Vaccination is the only effective method for protecting against contagious disease in healthy animals. Vaccination is injections containing weak or partial versions of a pathogen, so your pet’s body produces antibodies that destroy disease-causing organisms in the body.

The Vaccine clinic of bethel animal health is every Saturday and you will not be charged the exam fee.

Microchipping

A microchip is a small, electronic chip enclosed in a glass cylinder that has the same size as a grain of rice. It does not have a battery, it is activated by a scanner that is passed over the area. It only contains identification numbers. A microchip is injected under the skin using a hypodermic needle. It is no more painful than a typical injection. No surgery or anesthesia is required. Microchipping is very important to ensure your pet's safety and retrieval. It is a hopeless feeling if you do not know where your lovely pet is.

Wellness Exams

At Bethel animal health is a yearly physical check-up that is aimed at early detection of disease and helping to give the doctors a baseline for the unique bodies and tendencies of pets. Your pet needs to receive preventive care at least once per year and twice per year for pets that are more than nine years old. The net result of routine wellness exams is early detection and prevention of diseases, such as obesity, ear infections, and dental disease, and early screenings for arthritis, diabetes, and kidney disease can be performed.

Nutritional Counseling

Nutritional counseling is a great way to educate pet owners about the importance of maintaining a healthy diet for their pets. As your pet gets older you need to know how to alter its diet accordingly. Veterinarians can provide nutritional counseling for pet parents who may not know exactly what to do to avoid the obesity of their pets.

Onsite Diagnostics

Bethel animal health provides a variety of in-house diagnostic testing to provide your pet with the highest level of care possible.

Behavior Management

Bethel animal health can correct unwanted behaviors and enrich both your life and your pets' life.
