It's caused by close contact with pets. It appears on the mustache and beard areas and the lesion is scaly filled with pus.

• Tinea corporis (body):- 

It appears on the trunk, hands, and feet.

• Tinea unguium (nails):-

Characterized by a thickened, discolored, and opaque nail.

• Tinea pedis (foot):-

It's called athletes feet as It's due to wearing tight shoes for a long time. It's characterized by fissures, dryness, and oozing pus.

Indeed, there is no evidence or guidelines about using garlic in ringworm treatment, but it was proven its effectiveness in the treatment of many other fungi like Candida, Torulopsis, Trichophyton, and Cryptococcus.

To use garlic as a treatment, make a paste of crushed garlic cloves by blending the garlic with some olive or coconut oil. Apply a thin film of paste to the affected skin and cover with gauze. Leave it for up to 2 hours before rinsing. Repeat twice daily until symptoms resolve.

2. Soapy water

Always follow  hygiene rules by keeping your skin clean and dry.

N.B: Before using homeopathic treatment of ringworm, apply a small amount to a healthy area of skin to ensure they do not have a sensitivity or allergy to the treatment.

3.Apple cider vinegar 

It was found that apple cider vinegar has antifungal activity. So, Soak a piece of wool or cotton into the  concentrated cider vinegar, , then apply it to the affected area about 3 times daily to benefit from its healing properties.

It has antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral activities.

6. Turmeric

It has intensive anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial activity. To apply it, make a paste by levigating it with water or coconut oil then leave it to dry before rinsing and repeat that about three times daily.

7. Powdered licorice

It is also used as a homeopathic treatment of ringworm. For best results, mix 3 tablespoons of powdered licorice root into a cup of water. Then apply it to the lesion.

8. Tea tree oil

Make a 2 percent dilution of tea tree oil by mixing 12 drops of the essential oil with 1 ounce of cold-pressed carrier oil, such as coconut oil. Apply this to the skin three times daily, but take care if you have an allergy to tea tree oil, rinse it immediately. 

9.Grapefruit seed extract
